Admissions

Thinking back to my seven years at SCS, it prepared me not only academically but socially and spiritually as well. It really gave me the foundation needed to grow in friendships and faith in addition to a strong academic base. Now having three young children of my own, I know I can trust SCS to care for my kids the same way they cared for me when I was young. Seeing the three of them now walking those same hallways that I did all those years ago, I couldn’t be more excited to see their journey unfold as Conquerors! ~ Cornier Family, Enrolled 2025

At Schaumburg Christian School, we are more than a private school—we are a community committed to working together for the growth and development of every child. As an extension of the family and the church, our mission is to walk alongside families in the God-given responsibility of educating and discipling their children.

From our nurturing preschool program to our college-preparatory high school, SCS offers a Christ-centered, high-quality education rooted in academic excellence, spiritual formation, and character development. Fully accredited by four respected agencies, our school equips students to thrive in every area of life.

Located in Chicago’s northwest suburbs, SCS is home to over 37 nations represented, a diverse and vibrant student body, and a team of faculty and staff who see their work as a calling. We are dedicated to nurturing the whole child—academically, spiritually, socially, and creatively—so that each student grows into a confident, Christlike leader.

There’s never been a better time to join the SCS community. With state-of-the-art facilities, competitive athletics, award-winning fine arts, and teachers who care deeply about each student, Schaumburg Christian School offers a one-of-a-kind educational experience—designed to help every child become a Conqueror for Christ.

Life at SCS Through the Eyes of a Student

In this short video, one of our students—an SCS lifer—shares what it’s like to grow up in a Christ-centered school community. From her earliest years through high school, she’s experienced the lasting impact of being known, supported, and challenged to grow in faith and excellence.

At Schaumburg Christian School, we’re not just preparing students for college—we’re preparing them for life.

A Place Where Faith and Learning Unite

Schaumburg Christian School admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. As we are not equipped to handle children with special needs such as physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, or learning disabilities that require significant accommodation, there may be certain times we will not be able to accept a student. The school administration assumes the final responsibility for the grade placement of any student. All students are admitted on a nine-week probationary standing. Once the student demonstrates moral character, academic competence, and self-discipline, the probationary standing will be dropped.
