We are thrilled to announce the launch of Schaumburg Christian School’s first-ever Parent Advisory Board (PAB)! This historic step reflects our commitment to partnering with families as we continue to pursue excellence, service, and a Christ-centered education.

Schaumburg Christian School was named the Top Christian School of 2025 by Education Insider Magazine for its Christ-centered education, academic excellence, and daily commitment to discipleship, which prepares students to lead with faith, integrity, and purpose.

Schaumburg Christian School’s Head of School, Marc Popovici, has been recognized in Marquis Who’s Who and The Wall Street Journal as a Distinguished Leader. He continues his family’s legacy of faith and education established by his grandfather and great-uncle, both of whom were honored for spreading the Gospel.

At graduation last week, we celebrated the retirement of Mark and Darla McVey after 76 years of combined service to SCS. In their honor, we announced the new McVey Legacy Award: Heart of a Conqueror, which will be given annually to a student who reflects Christ-centered character, servant leadership, and a commitment to excellence—just like the McVeys.
