SCS is undoubtedly a special place. That became very apparent during the interview process. Then, being here and experiencing everyone in person, was truly amazing. SCS's willingness to go above and beyond for their faculty, staff, and students is remarkable. I have never seen anything like it. The SCS community is reaching people in some many different ways. I have even brought outside people in, and when they experience SCS, they are blown away! I appreciate SCS's vision of growth and advancement, trying to make this place the best it can possibly be! Employment Benefits

Free

  • Full-time teachers and faculty receive free tuition for their children. 
  • 10% tuition for part-time employees.
  • Free onsite childcare for enrolled students.

Assistance

  • SCS assists with continued education with tuition assistance. We have contracts with numerous Christian universities for continuing education.
  • Helpful supervision and guidance from veteran teachers through our Conqueror Mentorship program.

Paid

  • Bethel Baptist Church pays for our staff's health insurance, life insurance policies, and dental insurance. 
  • Staff receive 10 paid days off throughout the school year. 
  • 1% 403b contribution by Bethel Baptist Church.

Employment Qualifications

  1. Born-again Christian with evidence of steady spiritual growth
  2. Agreement to be a member in good standing at Bethel Baptist Church or another church of like faith.
  3. Agreement with the Statement of Faith of Bethel Baptist Church (found on the Overview Page)
  4. Concern for both teaching and training of children and young people in accordance with God's Word
  5. Willingness to learn and to grow professionally and spiritually
  6. Academic preparation in the specific area of interest
  7. Cooperative attitude toward fellow workers, parents, and supervisors
