Employment

If you are interested in employment at Schaumburg Christian School, you may view and download the Employment Application. Please complete the application for the position(s) you are interested in and return it along with your resume and other pertinent information. The successful candidate will not only possess the necessary academic and spiritual preparation, but also have a heart for and a desire to point young people to Jesus Christ.

Once all of the application documents have been received, your application packet will go through an initial screening process. If selected, you will be contacted to set up an appointment for an interview. All completed application packets are kept on file for approximately one year.

Faculty Job Qualifications

1. Born-again Christian with evidence of steady spiritual growth
2. Membership and participation in Bethel Baptist Church, of which Schaumburg Christian School is an integral part
3. Agreement with the Statement of Faith of Bethel Baptist Church
4. Concern for both teaching and training of children and young people in accordance with God's Word
5. Willingness to learn and to grow professionally and spiritually
6. Academic preparation in the specific area of interest
7. Cooperative attitude toward fellow workers, parents, and supervisors
8. Agreement with the dress, appearance, music, and conduct standards of this ministry

Volunteering

At SCS we welcome parents to be an active part of their child's education and classroom activities. We ask that all volunteers complete a Volunteer Application Form.

Areas to volunteer include:

• Child’s Classroom activities and field trips
• Fine Arts Department
• Sports: Coaches for Elementary Basketball
• Sports: Coaches for T-Ball or Junior League Baseball
