The Cook County Department of Public Health offers annual vision and hearing screening at no charge.  The hearing screening is offered for kindergarten, first and third grades.  Second grade is screened for vision and hearing.  Eighth grade is screened for vision.  These screenings are totally optional.

All students interested in competing in the music category at the IACS Junior High Tournament should meet in the Chapel during Activity Period for final runoffs.  Any questions regarding the music competition should be directed to Mr. Scott Mayer.
