We are excited to announce that the parking lot will be open for use Monday, November 20. In an effort to avoid as much congestion as possible, drop-off and pick-up procedures are stated below. Please read the information carefully for your student’s grade level and parking lot designations.
(See diagram for drop-off locations.)
3rd-12th grades only - If you are only dropping off students in 3rd-12th grades, please use one of the three lots we are currently using. (West Lot – Door 7, North Lot – Door 5, or the East Lot – Door 2 by the school lobby) After 8:15 a.m. only Door 2 will be open to drop off students.
1st-2nd grades OR vehicles with various grade levels - If you are dropping off just 1st and 2nd graders or both younger and older students who are in different buildings, please use the newly finished Circle Lot - Door 17 (main building for 3rd-12th) & Door 12 EEC downstairs (entrance for all 1st and 2nd grade students - this door will lock at 8:00 a.m., then students must use the front EEC Door 11).
Preschool and Kindergarten - Unfortunately we will not be able to have curb-side, drop-off service anymore. We ask those of you dropping off preschool and kindergarten students to park in the new parking lot in front of the EEC and walk your child in to their classroom (door 11).
DISMISSAL / PICK UP
(See diagram for dismissal/pick-up locations.)
7th-12th grades - You may pick up your child from any of the four drop-off locations (East Lot – Door 2, North Lot – Door 5, West Lot – Door 7, or the Circle Lot – Door 17).
2nd-6th grades - You may choose to pick up your child from any of the four drop-off locations (East Lot – Door 2, North Lot – Door 5, West Lot – Door 7, or the Circle Lot – Door 17). Since the Circle Lot will be added as a new dismissal/pick-up location, we would like to give you the opportunity to select a different dismissal location if you so desire. If a different dismissal time is also desired, now would be the time to select that as well. To make a location and/or time change, please complete the new dismissal/pick-up form. If no change is desired, you do not need to complete the form.
Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st grade - Parents will need to park and walk to the classroom to pick up your child.
Cook County is still in the process of installing a traffic light at the intersection of Roselle Road and Bethel Lane to help with traffic flow. They are guessing it will be installed in February.
Thank you for your patience during the parking lot construction. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call the school office.
